OMF proudly offers academic scholarships to the sharpest students and encourages them to stay and build rewarding careers in the places they call home. OMF is searching graduating high-school seniors – particularly those interested in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) – who are committed to academic excellence as well as to service in the community. Factors in selection of scholarships include high school grades, coursework and awards, plans to take university coursework and apply in a future career in their native land, history of service in the community, applicant financial need, and letters of recommendation.

I, have read and understand the conditions of the Ohana Matters Internship Application as explained below. I affirm the following:

  • I give permission to officials of my institution to release transcripts of my academic record and other information requested for consideration in the Ohana Matters Scholarship program.
  • I waive the right to access letters of recommendation written on my behalf.
  • If selected as an Ohana Matters Scholar, I agree to attend the Ohana Matters Scholar Awards Ceremony, and to return periodically to my high school and community as a mentor to younger students.
  • I affirm that all of this application is my own work. I affirm the information contained herein is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge and belief.
